Kurtis Smith has been named as the Divisions II-III Cross Country Coach of the Year for S.W. Ohio by the Enquirer. Coach Smith led the Lady Silver Knights to a historic first in the 2013 season as the team qualified to the state meet for the first time in school history with their historic regional runner-up finish. Four of the girls he coached also made first team all-city including the Division II-III female runner of the year in Ellie Adams.  The three other first team all-city team members were Sophie Adams, Sofia Ordonez, and Emily Ray.
