Closing out his junior HS-season campaign, Country Day's Luke Schieber cleared 17' 5" on his last attempt clearance at that height. Not only was that a Division 5 Ohio and state record, but also breaks the all-time Ohio outdoor record of 17' 4 1/2" set by Sidney's Garrett Guinther just last year at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals. Guinther also held the OHSAA record of 17' 3 1/4" from last year set in the Division I classification.
