The following Cincinnati-area athletes were winners over the weekend of 6-7 June at the 117th Boys' & 50th Girls' OHSAA state meet. Division 1 High Jump (Girls) - 5' 10" - Dashayla Worlaw (Mt. Healthy, Sr.) - Equals the Cincinnati Record of J'Alyiea Smith (Withrow) set at the state meet in 2016. Division 1 Pole Vault (Girls) - 13' 4" - Claire Iaciofano (Turpin, Jr.) equalled her recent city record in turning back Annie McCracken of Granville, who cleared the same height. Division 1 4x400m (Girls) - 3:48.69 - Mason - The relay team of Tori Killens (11), Elizabeth Resig (12), Taylor Birdsong (9), Lily Eagleston (12) won the race handily by almost 2 seconds. Division 2 3200m (Boys) - 9:15.04 - Sophomore Nathaniel Gockerman (Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy) turned back the competition in setting a lifetime best for him. Division 2 Pole Vault (Boys) - 16' 7" - Defending champion, Grant Harrison (New Richmond, Sr.) destroyed the field by almost 2 feet with his winning vault.
